LaRouche and the Aryan Race

From wikipedia:

The "Arctic Home in the Vedas" is a book on the origin of Aryans by Bβl Gangβdhar Tilak, a mathematician turned astronomer, historian, journalist, philosopher and political activist for India's independence from Britain during 1880 to 1920. It propounded the theory that the North Pole was the original home of Aryans during pre-glacial period which they had to leave due to the ice deluge around 8,000 B.C. and had to migrate to the Northern parts of Europe and Asia in search of lands for new settlements. A thesis close to the Thule Society's Nazi occult beliefs in the mythic land of Hyperborea-Thule which could be found in H. F. K. Gόnthe's Die nordische Rasse bei den Indogermanen Asiens (The Northern Race among the Indo-Germans of Asia).

Nazi Germany was of the opinion that if the British Raj was dissolved, then India could emerge as a valuable ally of the Axis powers and help it gain dominance in the Indian Ocean area. Therefore, the Germans and the Japanese actively provided support to revolutionary Indian independence movement leaders. Several leaders of the radical "revolutionary Indian independence movement" refused to support the cause of the United Kingdom during World War II. "In Europe, Tilak's book was sold by Totalitie, a French neo-Nazi publishing house. In fact, the only people who cared about Tilak and published his book were neo-Nazis. In America, the National Renaissance Party (NRP) which the NCLC was in contact with since at least the fall of 1974 also promoted Tilak. " From post - 02-04-2009 12:40 AM #181 Hylozoic Hedgehog

Referring to the work of Tilak, LaRouche considers the Aryan (Indo-European) civilization as superior to the "evil Harappan culture" (semitic) :

"Work reviewing the historical implications of early Vedic astronomical calendars, by FEF and some among its collaborators, is an included feature of several years ongoing work by an international team co-directed by FEF re co-director Dr. Uwe V. Parpart and Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr."
"Respecting the Vedic and classical Sanskrit literature itself, we have no doubt that the overthrow of the evil Harrapan culture was a happy accomplishment in net effect, but the Aryan invaders who accomplished this had undergone devastating cultural shocks prior to their arrival in the subcontinent. We know of two distinct such catastrophes. The first is emphasized by Tilak: the producers of the polar astronomical calendars had been driven by glaciation from their Arctic home. Then the Indo-European stock appears to have settled in central Asia during an extended period prior to the aridization of the region. This latter catastrophe had projected the Indo-European migrations into Europe and southern Asia during and after the third millenium B.C., gradually overwhelming and almost eradicating the remnants of an Atlas-culture dominating Western Europe, and becoming the Greeks, the Hittites, the Celts, and so forth.
Nonetheless the progress accomplished apart from the effects of such catastrophes is clear enough for our purposes." (1)

Tilak is even clearer:

"But if the age of the oldest Vedic period was thus carried back to 4500 B.C., one was still tempted to ask whether we had, in that limit, reached the ultima Thule of the Aryan antiquity." (2)

"The vitality and superiority of the Aryan races, as disclosed by their conquest, by extermination or assimilation, of the non-Aryan races with whom they came in contact in their migrations in search of new lands from the North Pole to the Equator, if not to the farther south, is intelligible only on the assumption of a high degree of civilisation in their original Arctic home... " (2)

For LaRouche, the "evil Harrapan culture" is the ancestor to the (semitic) "Whore of Babylon.":

"The Harrapan pantheon was dominated by a mother-earth goddess, Shakti, and her phallus-symbol consort, Siva. This Shakti is the same goddess as the Chaldean Ishtar, identified by the New Testament as the "Whore of Babylon." She is the Egyptian Isis, the Saban Athtar, the philistine's Astarte-Venus [whence Phoenicia, Venice], the phrygian Cybele, and the Russian Matushka Rus. Siva is also the Egyptian Osiris, the semitic Satan, and the consort of Cybele, Dionysos. Similarly, the Egyptian Horus is the philistine "St. George" cult's figure-imported from the orient, by way of Venice and Genoa, into thirteenth-century England. Horus is also Lucifer, and Apollo." (1)

The "proof" of the superiority of the Vedic/Pre Vedic/Indo-European/Aryan civilization being:

"The initially stunning feature of the ancient calendars is the inclusion of some very long astronomical cycles, including such cycles for the North geologic and magnetic Poles. Most stunning of all, the determination of the cycle for the movement of the magnetic North Pole could be accomplished by an ancient culture only were that culture a well-developed maritime culture.
The LaRouche-Riemann method corroborates such evidence' s implications ..." (1)

  1. Here LaRouche does not understand the nature of the "precession of equinoxes". It is not a cycle associated to the movement of the magnetic pole. The magnetic pole does not coincide with the "celestial" pole (i.e. the "North") or "geographical" pole which is the actual axis of rotation of the Earth.
  2. To measure such Precession of the Equinoxes (a cycle of 26,000 years!) one must be sedentary and have a several-centuries-old tradition of observing the solar cycle, unlike the "Aryans" or this mythical LaRouche's "maritime civilization".
  3. In order to discover the existence of a year of 365,24+ days rather than 365 or 365,25 days, one should be able to count the days, which is not possible with this Nordic Aryan race. The sky seen from the center of the Arctic is indeed quite different from ours: it has only TWO "days", that is days of six months each!
  4. Moreover, and as Tilak suggests it, this primeval calendar had to be lunar rather than solar (for obvious practical reasons). When the Aryans migrated southwards, they had to adapt their calendar to their new "homes". A "hereditary" marker of this is the fact that the Aryan/Indo-European calendars (i.e. Roman, Greek, Celtic etc) all share a very typical characteristic: their years being composed of 10, 11 or 12 (lunar) months, they had to complete the year with remaining days called 'epξmone", or "days of sacrifices" for the coming of their Gods ("New Year/Cycle"), to make up for the 365.24+ days that make a terrestrial year, which the Egyptians discovered.
The Egyptian calendar was solar but LaRouche rejects the Egyptian civilization because the "evil" Isis/Osiris were worshiped.

LaRouche also considers this "evil" Harappan civilization being caused by "dark-skinned" Dravidians:

"The primary sources show Sumer to be a settlement by a non-Semitic, "black-headed people," of the Dravidian language-group. The internal evidence corresponds to Herodotus' accounts of a Subcontinent-based (Shatki-Siva) maritime culture of the Dravidian language-group, which Herodotus associates with such locales as Yemen (Aththar), Ishtar (Mesopotamia), and Canaanite (Astarte). The Isis-Osiris cult is recognized as part of the same cultural set, as also the Phrygian Cybele-Dionysos, and Delphi Gaea-Python (Apollo) cult. The gross evidence is, that the Subcontinent-based branch of this Dravidian-language-group culture, associated with Harappa, went into decline during a period corresponding to some time during the Third Millennium B.C., a period corresponding to the growing influx of the Indo-European, Vedic culture, originating proximately from a relatively less arid period in Central Asia." (3)

These "evil" civilizations are now represented by "Semitic cultures":

In UNITED STATES OF AMERICA vs. ROY FRANKHOUSER, Charles Tate, a defector from LaRouche's security staff, reported in Court:

Q. Did you get into an argument with Mr. LaRouche?
A. No.
Q. You just refused to —
A. I just said no. He said I was a coward or something of that sort.
Q. Did you once get into an argument with Mr. LaRouche about some subject?
A. Yes.
Q. And what was that about?
A. Weil, the topics were Mr. Larouche's beliefs about ancient Egyptian history and also about the origins of the Arian race.
Q. And did he and you have some difference of opinion about some matter —
A. Yes.
Q. — in Egyptian history?
A. Yes.
Q. And did you get into a violent argument as a result?
A. Well, I think a fair characterization is that he got into a violent or heated argument and I tried simply to call to his attention certain facts documented beyond possible contest about Egyptian history in particular. I also asked him if he could

give me some source for his repeated assertion that the Arian race came from the North Pole in approximately the year 40,000 BC. at which point he looked at me and said I was the most blocked person he had ever spoken to or something of that sort and left the room, psychologically blocked, unable to think, unable to comprehend.

LaRouche wrote:

"The Semitic cultures of more recent times are by-products of the interaction between Egyptian culture and Dravidian-based influences such as those encountered in the Akkadians, Yemen, Ethiopia, and Canaan. Thus, whereas the original Hebrew, Mosaic faith is associated with Egypt, the Hebrew tradition following the first Babylonian captivity (accounting the Persian as the second Babylonian captivity) is mixed, syncretically, with the imposition of elements of the pagan mythologies of the Akkadians." (3)

Ironically this "war of the races" between Dravidians and Aryans was concocted by... the British rulers of India! Tilak, who was an Indian nationalist opposed to the British Raj and against Gandhi's non-violent strategy, defended the Aryans. He also supported (with theosophist Annie Besant) Germany against Britain during WW1 (the "Hindu German Conspiracy").
Helena Blavatsky's Theosophy had an esoteric racialism which inspired the Nazis and the Thule Society.
However, Blavatsky considered the Aryans as "brown"-skinned when the British Raj thought they were "white". (4)

LaRouche's concept of the "Aryan race" is similar to post-war Pan-Aryanism when some neo-Nazis have expanded their concept of the Aryan race, moving from the Nazi concept that the purest Aryans were the Teutonics or Nordics of Northern Europe to the idea that the true Aryans are everyone descended from the Western or European branch of the Indo-European peoples. This concept is based on the 1947 book Imperium: The Philosophy of History and Politics by Francis Parker Yockey. (4)

In fact, LaRouche is not a "racialist". He has replaced the discredited notion of "blood" with that of inferior "culture".
