| I knew Damrau somewhat. He visited sweden once and we would meet in Wiesabaden and Berlin at the European conferences. He had diabetes and as far as I could remember he got treatment for it. He had medicines and everything. |
| The problem, I believe, is another. He might have been quite lonley after and desillusionized after the organization basicly collapsed in Wiesbaden and Germany in 2006-2007. |
| I might be wrong, but I think he was one of the "lonely souls" too; that is one of the members that lived alone without a partner in an environment that hardly made it easy for members to find one! |
| He had a good sense of humour, but sometimes irony hides a great sorrow. |
